It was the first time I had ever danced in public and I thought it was going to be a slow dance. I was dating Franklin Klock and he told me it would be fun. I had never heard the song Freebird and it did start out slow. Boy, was I shocked when the beat changed to fast. Franklin was right, we had a great time! We danced alot more and he even played the drums while the band was on break. We had a great time, that I will never forget.
